COURSE DESCRIPTION: This class is designed for young / preteen actors who are ready for a performance challenge! Classes focus on storytelling, character creation, performance terms/techniques and ensemble building. Each semester will work on a different play, adapted just for this class, where we'll learn about theatre and the history/background of the story. Students should expect some homework - including memorization - through the semester. The majority of the semester will focus on the process of putting up a play - complete with costumes, staging and often music / dancing and sometimes even stage combat! Family and friends are welcome to join us, on the last day of class, for a final showing!
NOTE: Minimum enrollment must be reached by January 15 or this class will be canceled.

FINAL PERFORMANCE: During class on the final day of class. *Attendance is mandatory on the last 2 days of class (and the 'make-up date).
TUITION: $200 / semester (19.5 class hours)
Sibling Discount: oldest pays in full, siblings - $15 discount.
$50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, due upon enrollment
additional $100 by February 18 (2nd class)
Final balance due by March 25 (though other arrangements may be requested)
